GETTING STARTED

Quick Start Guide

Set up your first room and make your first booking in just a few minutes.

Let's get you up and running! This guide will walk you through the three essential steps to start using Sevoria: creating a room category, adding a room, and making your first booking.

Step 1 — Create a room category

Before you can add rooms, you need at least one category. A category is like a template — it defines the type, price, and features for a group of rooms.

  1. Click Properties in the sidebar (under Management).
  2. Switch to the Categories tab at the top.
  3. Click "Add Category".
  4. Fill in the details:
    • Category Name — Something descriptive like "Standard Room" or "Deluxe Suite".
    • Type — Is it a Room, Suite, Hall, or Apartment?
    • Price — How much per night?
    • Amenities — Type features like "WiFi" or "Air Conditioning" and press Enter after each one.
    • Images — Add some photos so you can see what's in each category at a glance.
  5. Hit "Create Category" and you're done!

Step 2 — Add a room

Now that you have a category, you can add your actual rooms.

  1. Go back to the Properties tab (same page).
  2. Click "Add Property".
  3. Give your room a name — like "Room 101" or "Suite A".
  4. Pick the category you just created from the dropdown.
  5. Click "Create Property".

That's it — your room is now live and ready to be booked! 🎉

Step 3 — Make your first booking

  1. Click Front Desk in the sidebar (under Operations).
  2. Click the "New Booking" button.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Pick a customer (or create a new one right there).
    • Choose a category to filter available rooms.
    • Select a room from the ones that are free.
    • Pick the check-in and check-out dates.
    • The total price fills in automatically based on your category rate and number of nights.
  4. Click "Create Booking" — done!

Your booking will now show up on the Front Desk page and the Calendar.
