Adding Properties
Add your individual rooms, suites, and apartments to start taking bookings.
In Sevoria, a "property" is any individual bookable unit — a hotel room, a suite, an apartment, a hall. Each property belongs to a category, which is where it gets its price and amenities from.
How to add a room
- Go to Properties in the sidebar and make sure you're on the Properties tab.
- Click "Add Property".
- Enter a name for the room — something clear and easy to recognize, like "Room 101" or "Suite A".
- Pick the category it belongs to from the dropdown. You'll see each category's name and price listed.
- Click "Create Property".
That's it! Your room is now available for bookings.
[!NOTE] You'll need at least one category before you can add rooms. If you don't have any yet, head to the Categories tab first.
What shows up in the table
Once you've added rooms, the Properties tab shows you a nice overview:
- Name — The room's name (e.g. "Room 101").
- Category — Which category it belongs to and its price.
- Availability — Whether it's free to be booked or currently occupied.
- Housekeeping — The room's current status (Clean, Dirty, etc.).
Tips for naming your rooms
Keeping your names consistent makes life easier for everyone:
| Type | Good Names |
|---|---|
| Rooms | Room 101, Room 102, Room 201 |
| Suites | Suite A, Suite B, Presidential Suite |
| Apartments | Apt 1A, Apartment 3B, Penthouse |
| Halls | Conference Hall A, Banquet Hall |
Changing a room's category
If you need to move a room to a different category — say, upgrading "Room 101" from "Standard" to "Deluxe" — just edit the room and pick the new category. Future bookings will use the new category's price.
