Categories & Pricing

Group your rooms by type and set pricing, amenities, and photos for each category.

Categories are how you organize your rooms. Instead of setting a price on every single room, you create categories like "Standard Room" or "Executive Suite" and set the details once — then every room in that category shares the same rate, amenities, and images.

What's a category?

Think of a category as a label for a type of room. Here are some examples:

How to create a category

  1. Go to Properties in the sidebar and click the Categories tab.
  2. Click "Add Category".
  3. Fill in the form:
    • Name — Something your team will recognize, like "Deluxe Room".
    • Type — Choose from Room, Hall, Apartment, or Suite.
    • Price — The nightly rate.
    • Amenities — Type each one and press Enter. Add as many as you like — WiFi, AC, Mini Bar, Swimming Pool, whatever your rooms offer.
    • Images — Upload photos to showcase what this category looks like.
  4. Click "Create Category".

Editing a category

Need to change the price or add new amenities? No problem:

  1. Find the category in the table.
  2. Click the edit action.
  3. Make your changes and save.

[!IMPORTANT] If you change a category's price, it only affects future bookings. Any bookings that were already made keep their original price.

The four room types

Sevoria gives you four types to choose from:

  • Room — Your standard hotel rooms.
  • Suite — Premium rooms with extra space and luxury amenities.
  • Hall — Event spaces, conference rooms, and banquet halls.
  • Apartment — Self-contained units for short or long stays.
